Tanzania’s President Julius Nyerere conveys his condolences to President Jomo Kenyatta’s wife Mama Ngina Kenyatta. On the right is President Daniel Arap Moi. Parliament Grounds, Nairobi Kenya. 31st August, 1978. The country went into deep mourning for its favorite son, and Kenya’s renowned photojournalist Mohamed Amin, also known as ‘Six Camera Mo’, covered the state funeral and swearing in of Kenyatta’s successor, and former vice-president, Daniel Arap Moi.
