The group portrait shows the busts of four men with long hair (wigs) who are shrouded in antique togas. The man on the right holds a drawing depicting Chronos as a personification of the time that shorts the wings of Cupid. On the right-hand background of the drawing, signed with the letters G.F., a pillar with hourglass is depicted as a sign of transience. The drawing is also held by the second person from the left, with the red cloak, holding a chalk holder in his other hand. The portraits are situated in an inner space with an arcade with classical architecture on the left and a medallion-shaped relief on the right, on which a boy flanked by two adult persons in classical clothing can be seen.
