Bhagavan (from the Sanskrit – blessed) – honorific title of the Indian holy man and reformer of Hinduism from Kolkata (Calcutta) Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (1836−1886). In the teachings of Living Ethics, a three-coloured aureole around the head of a holy man symbolises “three spheres of achievement” – heroic feats (silver), synthesis (green), vigilance (yellow).
