The enamelled watch dial indicates hours, minutes and seconds (on a separate dial). The watch was made by the Geneva watchmaking company Patek Philippe. The origins of the company go back to 1839. It was founded by Antoni Norbert Patek, an insurgent of the Polish November Uprising in 1830. In 1845, he started collaboration with Adrien Philippe, and in 1851, the company was eventually named Patek Phillipe.
