During the second period at the factory (1948-1954) Porcelanas Bidasoa began to develop high-quality pieces, which took their inspiration from models designed by defunct European royal manufacturers, such as the Neapolitan Capodimonte and the Spanish firms Buen Retiro (1760-1808) and Moncloa (1817-1850). Of this set, Gordailua conserves the following pieces: soup tureen, serving dish, sauce boat, salad bowl, two soup dishes, two dinner plates, and a coffee service. The handles are rectangular in section and the lid of the soup tureen has an inner rim to ensure proper fitting. All pieces have a foot ring and are covered in transparent glaze. The decoration is inglaze, with gilt
