This watercolour by Sydney John Bunney shows the chapel and bridgeon Spon Street, Coventry around 1917. The chapel’s red-brick roof glistens inthe sunlight. Bunney painted many of Coventry’s churches and other religiousbuildings. He often emphasised the yellows and greens of the plant growth whichcloaked many of the buildings.
