En la zona de la derecha de este grabado aparecen los actores del teatro de Kabuki, Bando Shuka II e Ichikawa Danjuro VIII representados en el cielo, que miran hacia abajo donde se encuentran dos actores jóvenes que habían muerto en menos de un mes: Segawa Michinojo que murió el 29 de agosto del sexto año de la era Meiji, que corresponde al año 1873, a la edad de 29 años y Bando Mitsugoro, que murió el 11 de septiembre del mismo año, a la edad de 28 años y era hijo adoptivo de Bando Shuka II. Ambos aparecen vestidos con la túnica azul celeste, denominada kamishimo, con la que se amortajaba a los muertos.
