The ring has the shape of a large scallop shell with an amethyst insert.Probably, the choice of the shape of the ring was influenced by architecture of the facade niche of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine in Kyiv. This facade with the bust of T.G.Shevchenko has a similar shape.Vitaly Khomenko often uses amethyst as an inset. The ring decorated with an oval cabochon of amethyst, which fixed with six prongs.The ring creates the mood of the solemn event.
