Picture of Yoon Dongju and Song Monggyu in their middle school years taken on a field in Longjing. It was donated by Song Monggyu’s family. Yoon Dongju is on the left and Song Monggyu on the right. The two graduated Myung-dong Primary School, studied in Jeil Primary School, a Chinese elementary school in Helong Prefacture, and enrolled together in Eunjin Middle School located in Longjing in 1932. First cousins and friends to each other, Yoon Dongju and Song Monggyu looked like twins because of their similar faces and height, and they are said to have gotten along well despite their opposite personalities.
