Yoon Dongju’s first manuscript notebook, “Unpoetic Poetry I Tried to Write.” It contains works created from December 1934 to March 1937. This is the period when the poet went from Eunjin Middle School to Pyeongyang Soongsill Boys’ Academy, then returned to Gwangmyeong Academy in Longjing. The notebook shows the poet’s warmhearted nature and his skills in playing with the Korean language by creating a natural rhythm.
