A variety of weaving techniques were used in the creation of this silk tapestry. Pale colors were applied for shading and texturing the mountains, clouds, and water. In this way, the objects differ from light to dark, which creates the illusion of distance in the clear arrangement. The shuttle was used in the creative process much like a brush used by an artist.
