A. R. Sinclair Photography is the professional name of Allan R. Sinclair, an American photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Professional Certificate of Photography from Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts. Sinclair specializes in providing high-quality photographs for publicity, marketing, and documentation to creative professionals, particularly in the theater industry. He is the owner of A. R. Sinclair Photography and has contributed to National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, TIME, Newsweek, Stern, German Geo, and Marie Claire, among others. Sinclair is also a member of The Photo Society and has received numerous awards for his work, including the Alexia Foundation Professional Grant, UNICEF’s Photo of the Year, and the Lumix Festival for Young Photojournalism Freelens Award. His extensive work on the issue of child marriage has earned him the 2008 CARE International Award for Humanitarian Reportage and The Overseas Press Club’s Olivier Rebbot Award in 2009.
