Biography:
Abraham Schwedler the Younger was a German goldsmith and jeweler, born in Dresden in 1612 and died in 1648. He was known for his jewelry-works, including the 'Container made from coins' created in 1635. He worked in the style of Rollwerk and Email, and created numerous goldsmith fassungen for various Bildnisse. He was particularly skilled in the use of gold and precious stones.
