Adrian Van Klaveren, known as Adrian Lloyd, is a British broadcasting executive at BBC News and Current Affairs. He was born in Bristol, United Kingdom, in 1961. He attended Bristol Grammar School and St John's College, Oxford where he read Modern History. He joined the BBC as a news trainee in 1983 and has since held various positions within the company, including Head of Local Programmes (HLRP) at BBC West Midlands, Head of BBC Newsgathering, deputy director of BBC News, Controller of Five Live, Controller of the Great War Centenary at the BBC, and Head of Strategic Change in News and Current Affairs. He is married to Julie Stringer and they have two sons. His surname is of Dutch origin.
