, a renowned Nigerian painter, muralist, graphic artist, sculptor, and teacher, was born in Ghana in 1946. He spent his formative years in Ghana until the age of 19, before relocating to Nigeria. Odutokun's pursuit of higher education led him to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a BA (First Class Honours) in Fine Arts with a major in Painting in 1975 and an MA in Fine Art in 1979.
Odutokun's artistic career was marked by his contributions to the Nigerian art scene, particularly as a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University from 1976 until his passing in 1995.
