Biography:

K. Sreenivasulu was a Postwar & Contemporary artist born in 1923 in Madras (Chennai), India. He was known as 'Art sir' to his students in Chennai. He studied at the Government School of Arts & Crafts, Madras (Chennai) and exhibited at Salon de Mai, Paris in 1951. In 1953, he won the President's Award. He was a luminary within the Madras Art Movement and his work defied easy categorisation. He passed away in 1995.
