Biography:

Ahmed Yousry Mahfouz is an Egyptian artist born in Cairo in 1980. He is a photographer known for his work on the Monastery of St Anthony Exterior in 2012. He has also worked as an assistant director and film director with various Egyptian and international film productions. Ahmed Yousry Mahfouz is also the Managing Director of Al Jazeera Documentary Channel. He is the recipient of the ABLF Award in 2015 and is ranked #81 in the Top CEOs In The Middle East by Forbes Middle East in 2021. Ahmed Yousry Mahfouz is also known for his work in the field of portrait photography and mobile photography, and has been featured in various exhibitions and publications. He is also the founder of the Cairo Camera Club.
