Biography:
Alan S. Goldstein is an American artist born in New York City in 1938. He had his first formal exposure to art at the High School of Music and Art in New York City. He then studied at Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh and later at the University of Pennsylvania. Goldstein is known for his abstract and colorful paintings, often inspired by landscapes and nature. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad. Goldstein's work is held in numerous private and public collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Butler Institute of American Art.
