Alcir Lacerda was a Brazilian photographer born in São Lourenço da Mata, Pernambuco, in 1927. He passed away in Recife, Brazil, in 2012. Lacerda was known for his black and white photography, and became famous for his photos of Recife and its surroundings. He was also the founder of Acê Filmes and worked in photography for advertising, journalism, and social events. Lacerda's work has been exhibited in several museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro and the Museum of Art of São Paulo.
