Biography:

Alejandro Aróstegui (b. Bluefields, Nicaragua, 1933) studied at the School of Architecture at the University of Tulane, New Orleans, USA. He is a visual artist and muralist, considered of great importance in Latin America. He uses various techniques such as painting, drawing, collage, and muralism. His work is characterized by the use of bright colors, geometric shapes, and abstract forms, often with a social and political message. He has exhibited his work in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in various countries, and his works are part of important public and private collections. He currently lives and works in Nicaragua.
