Aleksandr Leonidovich Korolev was a Soviet muralist and teacher, born on June 14, 1922, in Soligalich, Russia. He was named an Artiste émérite de la RSFSR and was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Korolev was known for his large-scale murals, which can be found in various institutions and public spaces across Russia. He passed away on March 17, 1988, in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg).
