Alexandre Gueyton was a French artist born in 1818 in Tournon-sur-Rhône, Ardèche (07), France and died in 1862. He was a bijoutier and orfèvre who founded the Parisian house bearing his name in 1840. The house was ceded in 1856 to two of his counter-maîtres, Bertrand and Subinger. His nephew Marc Gueyton took over the house in 1862, followed by one of Alexandre's sons, Camille Gueyton.
