In 1926, Alfred Joseph Casson joined the prestigious Group of Seven, an invitation extended by fellow artist Franklin Carmichael. This marked a pivotal moment in his career, solidifying his position as a key figure in Canadian art. His works, characterized by vivid depictions of landscapes, forests, and farms of southern Ontario, showcased his unique style.
