Biography:

Andrey Vladimirovich Chernyshev was born on 10 July 1970 in Bratsk, Russia. He is a Russian politician serving as a senator from Irkutsk Oblast since 18 September 2020. Chernyshev is a graduate of Bratsk State University and Irkutsk State University. He served in the Soviet Army from 1988 to 1990. From 1996 to 2001, he was a Deputy General Director and General Director of the company 'Tsentr'. In 2004, he was elected deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Irkutsk Oblast at the 4th convocation. He is also a founder of a charity foundation. In 2013, he was re-elected as deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Irkutsk Oblast. On 18 September 2020, he was appointed a senator from Irkutsk Oblast.
