Biography:

Anselmo Guinea was a Spanish painter, acuarelista and muralista. He received his early education from Ramón Elorriaga and later worked on various projects including the Biblioteca de Bidebarrieta, Palacio Foral, Palacio Chávarri, and as a painter of vidrieras in the Palacio de Ibaigane. His work is essential to understanding the aesthetic transformations of Basque painting during the turn-of-the-century period.
