Biography:
Tony Enebeli is a Nigerian Postwar & Contemporary artist. He was born in 1956 in Ugiliamai, Nigeria. Enebeli's work focuses on the tradition of people in the Anioma area - their festivals, cultures, habits, daily life. He is a protégé of Bruce Onobrakpeya and one of the best-known printmakers in Nigeria. Enebeli's etchings explore the disappearing traditions of his Anioma people – their festivals, marriage customs and dances.
