Antonianos di Afrodisia was a Greek artist from Afrodisia, a city in Caria, in the southwestern part of Turkey. He was active in the second half of the 2nd century AD and was part of a group of artists who worked in Rome. He is known for his sculpture 'Antinous-Silvanus', which is made of marble and is in the collection of Fondazione Cariplo in Italy. Antonianos di Afrodisia is considered one of the most important sculptors of the Roman Empire and his work is highly valued for its technical skill and artistic expression.
