Aron Gerschel was a French photographer born on October 29, 1832 in Niederœdern, France. He died around the years 1910. He had an atelier of photographers with his brothers Aaron, Samuel aîné, Edouard, Jules and Mathias Gerschel founded in 1856 in Strasbourg. Aron Gerschel was known for being the Photographer of the École polytechnique and the faculties of Paris. He had studios at different addresses such as 17 boulevard Saint-Martin around 1885, then moved to 23 boulevard des Capucines around 1900.
