Biography:

Asem Farman was born in Tehran, Iran in 1947. He was a prominent Iranian artist known for his paintings and prints. Farman studied at the School of Fine Arts in Tehran and later at the Royal College of Art in London. He was a member of the Saqqakhaneh School, a group of Iranian artists who combined traditional Persian art with modern Western techniques. Farman's work often depicted scenes of everyday life in Iran, and he was known for his use of bright, bold colors. He exhibited his work in galleries and museums throughout Iran and Europe, and his work is held in numerous private and public collections. Farman passed away in 2016.
