Biography:

Ayad Al-Qaraghulli is an Iraqi-born bronze artist and painter. He has been a resident artist of Sculptures by the Sea and has exhibited at various solo and group exhibitions in the Middle East and Europe. Alqaragholli's work is known for its large-scale public art projects, including the Presbyterian Ladies College Centenary Sculpture. His sculptures often feature flying human forms that symbolize freedom, peace, and love. He has won several awards, including the 2007 Outstanding Learner - New Learner Migrant award and the 2008 New Faces Fine Art Award. Alqaragholli's work is located in public spaces across Australia, China, and South Korea.
