Biography:
Barbara Batugowska is a Polish artist born in 1932 in Denkow. She comes from a family of artists, with her father being a potter and her mother a sculptor. Barbara started working with clay in the 1960s and has since become known for her sculptures, including scenes from the life and passion of Christ, as well as figurines and other objects. Her work has been exhibited at various galleries and museums, including in Lublin, Torun, and Warsaw. She is a member of the Association of Folk Artists.
