's artistic career began with her involvement in the Yirrkala printspace, where she was one of the first women to produce works. Her artworks were featured in the Printmakers' first exhibition in Yirrkala in 1998. In 2007, she started creating more bark paintings, following the success of her sister, Nyapanyap.
