Biography:
The Benin Kingdom People were a group of skilled craftsmen and artists from the Kingdom of Benin, a pre-colonial African state located in what is now known as the Southern region of Nigeria. They are renowned for their exquisite works of art, primarily made of cast bronze and carved ivory, which were produced mainly for the court of the Oba of Benin. Their artwork includes ceremonial objects, sculptures, and other significant pieces that reflect the cultural heritage and history of the Kingdom of Benin.
