Biography:
Francesco Lucchi (Borgo S. Donnino (Fidenza), January 13, 1583 - between 1630 and 1632) was an Italian painter. He is considered a pupil of the Cremonese painter Giovan Battista Trotti, but he probably drew inspiration from Bernardino Campi's work, also a famous painter from the Cremonese school, to which Lucchi seems to have drawn, both in The Last Supper (photo) of the Chapel of the Most Holy of Fidenza Cathedral (1611) and in the coeval Virgin with Child, Saint Joseph, and Saint Christopher of Busseto Collegiate.
