Biography:
Ernesto Alli is an Argentine artist born in Buenos Aires in 1981. He graduated from the Bachelor of Arts and Professorship Visuals at the National University of the Arts. He participated in the Scholarship Yungas, coordinated by Raúl Flores, under the guidance of Lolo and Lauti (2019-2020). He also participated in the PAC Program in Gallery Gachi Prieto (2019) and the Kooshk Residency in Tehran, Iran, where he held a solo show at the Ogallery gallery (2018). Ernesto Alli obtained the Special Mention of the Award of Painting Central Bank (2019) and the Mention of the Prize Stimulus for the Brun-Cattaneo Collection Performance. He carried out the intervention in public space Al Don pirulero within the framework of the KM1 project of the Modern Museum of Buenos Aires. He participated in Collective shows: Fat Collection: Acquisitions 2021/2022 Yungas La Prensa, in the La Prensa building (2021); Itaú Award at Museo Sívori (2021) Uade Award (2019) and Testimonies of what used to be, in Galería Gachi Prieto(2019), among others.
