Biography:

Carlos Cancio is a Puerto Rican artist, born in 1961 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Boston and established his first studio in Spain in 1984. From 1991 to 2003, he lived in San Francisco, California. He currently resides in Puerto Rico. Cancio is known for his figurative style and pan-Caribbean motifs. He has had numerous exhibitions and events throughout his career, including 'Impetu' at Artífice Arte Contemporáneo in Viejo San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2014. Cancio's work has been featured in various publications, including Artsy, Widewalls, Artnet, Arte Al Dia, and Kumneger Media.
