Biography:

Carlos Somonte is a Mexican photographer born in 1956 in Mexico City. He is known for his work in photography, film, and television. He has worked with renowned directors such as Alfonso Cuarón, and has been the official photographer for the band Café Tacuba. Somonte studied Biology at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM) in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and later pursued a postgraduate degree in Photography at the PTC in London. His work has been exhibited in various galleries and museums, and he has received several awards for his contributions to the field of photography. He currently resides in Mexico City.
