Carmen Elena Trigueros was born in Seville, Spain in 1978. She is a visual artist known for her mixed media works. Trigueros studied at the Real Academia Española in Seville, where she became a full member in 2006. She is the last representative of the Generation of '27. Trigueros's work often explores themes of identity, culture, and history. Her piece 'Rosa Poderosa en La Habana' was created in 2019 and is an example of her mixed media style. Trigueros continues to create and exhibit her work in Spain and internationally.
