Biography:

Carmen Florea Voicu is a Romanian artist, born in Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz, Andalusia, Spain in 19xx. She is known for her work in the field of traditional Romanian costume design, specifically the Muntenia traditional shirt. Her design is based on an artefact from the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, and was completed in 2018. The medium used for this piece is cotton, and it is a part of her AIEVEA collection. Carmen Florea Voicu is also known for her academic work in the field of history, specifically the Late Medieval Cult of the Saints in Transylvania. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Medieval History and Historiography, Faculty of History and Philosophy, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
