Biography:
Carol Newborg is an American artist born in 1954. She has created installations for over 30 years and received her MFA from UC Berkeley in 1981. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including Mexico and Iran. In addition to her artistic practice, Newborg is deeply involved in arts in corrections, working as a teacher and exhibit coordinator. She believes that art should be accessible to all.
