Carol Wainio is a Canadian painter born in Sarnia, Ontario. She studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, University of Toronto, and Concordia University in Montreal. Her work has been exhibited in major art galleries in Canada, the U.S., Europe, and China. She has won multiple awards, including the Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts.
