Biography:

John Case was an American photographer born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1830. He worked in partnership with George M. Silsbee and William H. Getchell as Silsbee, Case & Co. in the early 1860s. Later, he worked with Getchell again as Case & Getchell, ca.1862-1864. Case ran a solo photography studio in the 1860s and 1870s. He died in Boston in 1891.
