Constantine Gorbatov was a Russian post-impressionist painter born in Stavropol, Russia in 1876 and died in Berlin in 1945. He is known for his landscapes and cityscapes, often depicting scenes of Italy and France. Gorbatov studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and later at the Académie Julian in Paris.
