Konstantinos Mallias, also known as Konstantinos Maleas, was a Greek painter of the Post-Impressionist style. He is considered one of the most important modern artists in Greece, along with Konstantinos Parthenis. Born in Constantinople in 1879, he studied architecture before turning to painting. Mallias' work is characterized by its bold colors and emotive expression, often depicting everyday life and scenes from Greek mythology.
