Pierre-Louis Dagoty, also known as Dagoty Porcelain Manufacture, was a French painter and porcelain manufacturer born in Paris in 1771 and died in the same city in 1840. He was the founder of a renowned porcelain factory in Paris, which produced high-quality porcelain characterized by the use of vivid colors and thick application of burnished gold leaf. Dagoty's porcelain was inspired by Neoclassical ornament but also included original designs. His factory was one of the most important in France, producing a wide range of porcelain items, including tableware, vases, and figurines. Dagoty's porcelain was highly regarded in his time and continues to be collectible today. He was awarded the title of Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur in 1814.
