Biography:
Dana Ferrari is an Argentine artist born in Buenos Aires in 1988. She studied Stage Design at the Universidad Nacional de Arte (UNA) and Characterization at the Instituto Superior de Arte Teatro Colón, while attending workshops on scenic realization. Since 2012, she has participated in clinics analyzing her work and was selected for programs such as Beca Fondo Nacional de las Artes - CC Haroldo Conti, Laboratorio de Cine, and the Programa de Artistas de la Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
From 2016 to 2022, she attended the workshop of artist Diana Aisenberg. Her main exhibitions include 'Diana' (Isla Flotante, 2013), 'El Divismo y lo Divino' (Naranja Verde, 2014; Munar, 2018), both performance-installations, and 'La Época de los Perros Flacos' (Quimera, 2018) and 'Las Noches' (Galería Grasa, 2021). Her main video-performance works are 'Clientes', realized with her sister Ángela Ferrari and exhibited in the final show of the Programa de Artistas UTDT (2015), 'Amenities', which won the third prize UADE and was performed live at CCK (2018) and Territorio Bienal (2019).
In 2020, she presented 'Los Mareados' as an outdoor installation in the festival 'El Sol por Atrás' and the performance 'Se Craqueló del Espanto' with Miguel Garutti. In 2022, she participated in the collective exhibition 'Terra incógnita' at Sala Cronopios del Centro Cultural Recoleta. Currently, she is part of the group La Baranda and has been developing RICAS Estudio since 2014, a commercial and collective artistic project with Clara Campagnola dedicated to artistic settings and scenic realizations.
