Daniel Senise was born in 1955 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated in civil engineering in 1980 from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He began his artistic career in the 1980s and has since become one of the most important contemporary artists in Brazil. His work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, and he has received several awards and recognitions for his contributions to the arts.
