Biography:
Daniele Galliano is a famous self-taught Italian artist born in Pinerolo, Italy in 1961. He began exhibiting in Turin in the early 1990s and quickly gained a reputation in the new Italian painting scene. He is currently the technical lead at the European Crisis Management Laboratory (ECML), where he focuses on researching the application of technologies. Galliano is also known for his role as the mayor of Bormida, Liguria, where he proposed a bonus of €2,000 and very low rents for anyone willing to move to the town in 2018. Galliano's work has been exhibited in various national pavilions at the Venice Biennale and can be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome.
