Biography:

David Ireland è un drammaturgo e attore nordirlandese, noto per i suoi giochi pluripremiati Cyprus Avenue e Ulster American. Nato a Sandy Row, Belfast, è cresciuto a Ballybeen, Dundonald, County Down. Frequentò la Brooklands Primary School, la Royal Belfast Academical Institution e la Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. I giochi d'Irlanda sono stati eseguiti a Belfast, Scozia, Washington, D.C., New York City, Dublino, Sydney e Edimburgo.
