Biography:

Davide Rivalta is an Italian artist born in Bologna in 1974. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. He currently lives and works in Bologna, where he teaches sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts. Rivalta is known for his sculptures and installations inspired by nature, particularly animals, which he represents in a docile attitude that contrasts with their majesty and violence. His works have been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries, including the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, the Château de Vullierens in Switzerland, and the Google Arts & Culture platform.
